Rich Carango, Vice President, Creative
Recruited directly out of college, Rich began his career at Schubert Communications as a graphic designer. As he learned more and more about the intricacies of business-to-business marketing communications, Rich quickly rose through the ranks as Art Director, Lead Art Director, Account Executive, and now Creative Director. His designs have won several top awards from the Philadelphia chapter of the Business Marketing Association; and under his direction, Schubert’s creative team has won gold medal awards from both the Business Marketing Association and the Art Director’s Club.
As Creative Director, Rich heads a team of talented, energetic designers and programmers who create advertising, brochures, direct mail, logos, CD-Roms, and Web sites for Schubert’s range of technology and industrial clients. Rich also serves as the creative gatekeeper, making sure every project meets the high creative and strategic standards clients have come to expect from Schubert.
In addition to his duties as Creative Director, Rich serves as the lead contact on several of the agency’s largest accounts. In this role, he manages the overall Integrated Marketing Communications program for each client and provides proactive recommendations to help them reach their marketing goals. Rich has expertly crafted marketing programs that helped increase clients’ market share and generated double-digit sales growth.

Education:
Rich earned his BA in Design from American University (Washington, D.C.).
